How do I download iScroll?
You can download the iScroll app by clicking here or Simply connect to the Apple app store and search for iScroll.
How do I purchase a book?
You can purchase books at iScroll.com and sync your purchases with your app by using the sync button found in the settings and account menu. You can also purchase titles via Apple's in app purchase and view your books online using iScroll's cloud player.
How do I play my book?
After you purchase a book, go to your iScroll library either on your iOS device or online at iScroll.com. Click on any of the books on your shelf this will open the table of contents. Select your chapter or hit last reading position to begin reading.
Why is the "Art of War" on my bookshelf?
The "Art of War" is a complementary title we give to all iScroll useres.
How do I log in to Facebook connect?
You can login to your Facebook account if you would like to post quotes, with audio, on your Facebook wall. To use this feature, simply highlight a quote and tap share. aYou will be prompted to enter your Facebook login and password. After the information is validated, tap ‘Publish,’and the quote will appear on your news feed.
To log out of Facebook connect, use the ‘Account’ menu on iScroll’s homepage.You can log out of Facebook connect in the "Account" menu found on iScroll's homescreen.
What do I do if I forgot my user name or password?
If you are trying to login to iScroll and have forgotten your password, simply tap the ‘Forgot password’ button. A link will be sent to your email allowing you to create a new password.
How can I increase the reading speed?
iScroll allows you to easily increase your reading speed and the speed of narration without distorting the pitch of the speakers voice. A single tap on the screen will make the speed control bar appear on the screen. To increase the speed, sdjust the bar to the right to increase the speed, and move it to the left to slow the speed of the audio and text .
This feature is only available on iOS 4.3 or higher.
How do I log out of Facebook connect?
From the iScroll homepage, tap on the ‘Account’ button. When in the ‘Account"’page loads, tap the Facebook button to log out or log back in to Facebook connect.
How can I skip chapters?
There are several ways to navigate chapters. From the home screen, you can select the table of contents and go directly to any chapter. Once you have selected a chapter, you can advance chapters with a right-to-left finger swipe. To go back to the previous chapter, simply use a left to right finger swipe.
What is continuous reader?
You can turn the continuous reader function on and off from the settings menu. If the continuous reader button is off, at the end of the chapter, you will have to manually swipe to advance to the next chapter. If the continuous reader is on, the next chapter will automatically start playing.
How do I turn on the highlight feature?
From the settings menu, tap the ‘Reading highlight’ button. When this button is turned to the on position, it will place a yellow highlight over the word as the narrator reads it.
How do I change font and background color?
From the settings menu, tap either ‘Ttext color’ or ‘Bbackground color’. Both of these options will bring up a list of colors to choose from; select your desired color scheme. To reverse the colors of the font and background, tap the ‘Rreverse color’ button in the settings menu so it is in the on position.
My book has blank chapters?
If there are blank chapters, you may need to update your app. If there is no update available please let us know the name of the app you are having issue with and we will try to resolve this problem as quickly as possible.
How can I change the alignment of the text?
From the settings menu, tap ‘Ttext align.’ A list will appear with options to align the text to the left, right, center or justify. Justify formats the text so that it fills the screen, touching both the left and right edge of the screen.
How do I change the font style?
From the settings menu, tap the‘Ffont arrow,’ then select a font style from the list of dozens of fonts. After you have selected your desired font, tap the ‘Settings’ button to take you back to the settings menu. Finally, tap the ‘Back’ button.
How can I adjust font size?
From the settings menu, move the circle on the slider bar. As you move it to the left, you will notice the text on the top of the screen get smaller. As you move it to the right, the text will get larger. After you have adjusted the font to your desired size, simply tap the ‘Back’ button and continue scrolling.
What languages does iScroll support?
Currently iScroll is available in English.
What type of Internet connection do I need?
Scrolls can be downloaded over a 3g or Wi-Fi. Once you have downloaded the scroll to your device, you can use it while offline; however, the look-up feature does require an internet connection.
Can I get a scroll back after I delete it?
Yes! You can access your virtual library and re-download any scroll you've purchased by going to the ‘My Accounts’ tab and tapping purchased titles. There will be a ‘Download’ button for any scroll you have purchased that is not on that device.
How do I delete a scroll off of my device?
To delete a title from your device, simply go to the ‘My Accounts’ tab and tap purchased titles button. A list of the scrolls you have downloaded will appear. To remove it from your device, tap ‘Delete’ and confirm that you want to remove it from your device.
How do I look up using Google & Wikipedia?
As you are listening to your scroll and find something you would like to look up, simply double tap on the screen and hold your finger over the word you would like to look up. If you want to look up a phrase or sentence, move the circle to expand the highlighted field. Once you have your desired text selected, tap the Google or Wikipedia button and a Google or Wikipedia search field will automatically populate. After you are done browsing, tap ‘Done’ to return to your scroll.
How do I bookmark?
As you are listening to your scroll, simply double tap the screen and then hold your finger over the word you would like to bookmark. If you want to bookmark a phrase or sentence, move the circle to expand the highlighted field. Once you have your desired text selected, tap the ‘Bookmark’ button, and it will automatically be added to your bookmarks. To return to your bookmark from the home screen, tap ‘Bookmark’ and then select your desired bookmark from the list.
My app keeps crashing.
If you are having a problem with the app you can simply delete it and reinstall it. Dont worry any purchases you have made or notes you have taken should be saved when you log back in to your accoun.
